SO I cant believe its been soooo long since I have been on. Kaden is 8 months and soooo close to walking. He loves to climb on everything, put everything in his mouth, grab remotes, plays with my laptop, and gets into the fridge whenever he possibly can. I love being a mom and cant imagine my life any other way. Summer here has begun. It is hot, sunny, and perfect for being outside. Kaden loves to go for walks/runs with me and remy our dog. I recently chopped my hair off after trying to grow it forever. I came to the conclusion long hair isnt for me cause I dont have the patience and well I really like short hair. I have been trying to get up the courage to do a half marathon and, hopefully will be ready for it by the rock and roll here in the fall. Kaden is say dada and baba. and of course just smiles when I say mama! He is sleeping through the night and has 4 teeth and one cutting through as of today. He looks super cute when he smiles! here are some pics and Hopefully I will be able to write more often.

Kaden is growing soo stinking fast. I love him so much and tell him that all the time. I know he feels the love in our home and its amazing to have him in our lives. Kaden started eating actual baby food. He loves peas, green beans, peaches, pears. pretty much everything. I am still waking up a couple times a night because he is teething and I am starting to switch him to formula. I know it will get better, hopefully soon! I love that I am able to be with him at home and play with my neices and nephew. I couldnt be happier.I have been practicing withmy new camera on taking good pictures and am getting pretty good. here are some pics

My best friend Leah is going to be getting married next weekend I can not wait! She and her soon to be hubby are just the cutest couple. They make such a striking pair and couldnt be happier. I have always been very close with leah since we were 14 years old. I cant believe how fast time has gone since then. Being able to live in the same city has been wonderful. We have been able to do lunch almost every week and catch up on things. I love her like a sister. I am so happy for her and Derrick. Leahs batchlorett party was last night and was a blasty blast!! love you girly

My beautiful niece was born 5 months to the day of Kaden on Jan 11. I am soooo excited that she is finally here. I love her sooo much and so does Kaden. Its amazing to think that just 5 months ago the little guy was smaller then she is. She was 7 pounds and 19 inches. Kaden was a little smaller in weight but same length. It so nice to think about how close the little ones will be when they grow up and play together. My sister and I are very close and I am happy to know that our babies will be too. I am so greatful for my many blessings and family. Kaden is 5 months now and time has gone by too fast. He has been rolling over like crazy, talking up a storm and become very very very attached to mommy. As long as he see's me he is ok but when thats not possiable he flips lol. Some days are better then others but for the most part he just loves his momma!! Kaden loves rice cereal, peas, green beans and sweet potatos. Thats all we have gotten to so far but next is bananas!! My baby boy is so big now he weighs 15 pounds and 24inches! I think we might have a shorty on our hands but its still too early to tell. Hopefully he gets some Ross height to him!!here are some pics

Christmas Festivites!!

Christmas this year was just perfect. Kaden truly made the spirit of Christmas come out. Its so hard to imagine life without Kaden in our life. He makes my day so much brighter. Being a mom is the greatest blessing in the world. This Christmas we were able to spend time with our family, eat alot, and play sooo much with the little guy. Kaden has grown so much. Even though he is to little to understand what is going on, he had lots of presents from family and friends. He has been rolling around our place with all his new toys and we love watching him although, he does get lazy and gets stuck on his tummy and gives up on rolling back over. I am very greatful for my family to be so close and that we are able to spend such precious time with one another.

Its so hard to believe that four months has already gone by. I love every minute of my life with Kaden! He is absolutely perfect. He loves to smile, Laugh at mommy, grab anything that he can. We have to get out of the house because he already gets stir crazy. Thankfully San Antonio has pretty good weather that isnt too bad to get out in. My life is just perfect and I feel like the luckiest girl. I have a wonderful husband that makes me feel great and, a beautiful son who is such a wonderful spirit to be around. My life can be stressful at times especially when Kaden Has been up alot during the night but when I see how much he lights up when he sees me it makes it all worth the long night. Kaden started eating rice cereal and loves it soooo much!! He is the cutest thing when he eats. He is begginning to suck his thumb when his binky isnt around. He is already afraid for the dark lol. A night light must be on very dim when he goes to bed. Reading books at night and singing church songs is one of our favorite things to do. I am so blessed for being a mom and a wife.

Being a Mommy 24-7 is a hard and rewarding job. Today has been a long day with my little man. Kaden has been more fussy then normal the last couple days and its mostly in the evenings. The last two nights 2 AM has been my best friend. I dunno why all of a sudden he hasnt been able to sleep well. This evening was very challenging. Making dinner seemed impossible, being able to self sooth was not working for kaden and a full hour and a half was full of screaming. He was fed, changed, and not showing any sighns of gas or tummy problems. Everytime that I was going to put him down all hell broke loose!!! Anyways bath time came and we made it a long bath time because he LOVES the water and he wasnt screaming... Finally Last feeding came and Kaden was OUT!!! Hopefully he sleeps better tonight. But in the mist of madness of making dinner, screaming child, and me somewhat feeling the need to cry his smile makes everything ten times better!! I love being a mom and wouldnt change it for anything. Here are some pics of my 3 month old!!

October has flown by and November is already here. Kaden has been such a great baby boy. His personality is huge and he is a big mommas boy. He is sleeping through the night and waking up to eat about 2am and 6 or 7 am depending how tired he really was at night. I love how much he is talking to me and smiling so much when he recognizes someone he knows. Being outside is one of his favorite things to do. There are only a couple hours in the morning where he will let mommy get out of the house with him in a good mood, and by nap time we have to be home!! Christian works from home so he gets to play with us when he isnt working on day trade stuff and he watched Kad when I go running and working out.

Pumpkin Patch With My PUMPKIN!!!

As a family we went to the pumpkin patch yesterday right before it down poured. Luckily we got to take some cute pics and Kaden was on his best behavior. Christian finished with stuff on the computer early and was able to break away!! Being a Mom has been such a blessing. Life has gotten much more complicated but I wouldnt have it any other way.

I am soooo happy that my wonderful hubby bought me a new camera that I have been wanting for sometime. I want to get into photography and starting out by taking pics of my little guy will be great practice. It started out with just wanting a new camera and then I realized if we were going to spend the money why not get something that is great for the price. Luckily Best buy was having an awesome deal this last weekend where I got two great lenses and an exra battery for a wonderful price. After much thought I got the ok to get it and have been taking pics like crazy. Tonight we are going to the Pumpkin Patch as a Family so hopefully I get some great pics. I'll post them when I can, but for now here is my beautiful camera!!

I cant even belive that our little guy is already two months old!!! He has become such a joy in our lives. His personality is growing larger each day. This last month Kaden has already rolled from his back to his tummy. I know!! they are not supposed to do that!! He is already wanting to lift himself up from laying down and his little legs are constantly wae that wanting to stand up when you hold him. As for me I have been helping my aunt a a home care provider for my downsyndrum cousin and Kaden get to go to work with mommy which is great. Although he does not like that all the attention is not onhim and makes it apparent by screaming like he is in pain. Here are some pics that we got taken for his two months!! Enjoy

Life has been a crazy and I have to say I love it!! Kaden and Mommy get out alot during the week cause daddy work so much during the day. We have been to the park and go on a walk every night with Christian after he is done with work. I am so greatful for his hard work that he does for our family. Kaden has been a great eater and grown so much in the last two months. He wakes up every morning with smiles and coo's!! His personality is shining and is hilarious. My sister in law took some pictures of him a couple weeks ago I thought I would share some.. There a couple from me too!!

Soooo Its been forever since I blogged lol... Thats was traveling the country, having a baby, and moving states will do to ya I guess.. Kaden is two months today and I cant belive how fast it has gone. In the past few weeks Kaden has been on a plane twice and in the car for 44 hours total... Needless to say he hates the car SOOOOO much!!! We went to Michigan to see grandma teachoutt and aunti angie. Then went utah to move all of our stuff back to good ol TEXAS!!!! In the time away we saw good friends that will be missed terriably and family that we love very much. Now we are back in San Antonio I am in my running rutine and loving it!! Alothough I must say it is sooo hard to get your endurance up again after having a baby. Kaden is sleeping through the night and has the fake cry down to a T. Christian is working hard on day trading and other business stuff. I have more to tell.. however our lives are super busy and I will try to get on more.. here are a few pics of the lil guy!!

Its been a week since our hansom bundle of joy came into this world. Kaden is just a perfect baby boy. We went to the doctor and he is doing great gaining weight and eating. I really can not complain with his sleeping habits at all. He is sleeping through the night, getting up to eat and quickly doses off for another couple of hours. Last night actually he slept 5 hours straight!!! I could not believe it, I kept waking up thinking he was going to be awake, but he never did. Kaden hardly cries and when he is hungry he sucks on his hands like crazy. We both miss daddy soooo much but luckily we only have a week and a half left and we get to be in his arms again. Everyday that goes by he is looking more and more like his dad. I love it!!

Our little guy made his arrival on Tuesday August 11,2009 at 10:08pm. He is just perfect! I went into labor Tuesday at 4am and went to the hospital. I was not sure if it was the real deal so I waited until the doctors confirmed that we were going to be having a baby!!!! SOOOOO I freaked of course, it was everything I had been waiting for but I didnt want my husband not to be here. Luckily labor took time and they didn't give me any meds to speed up the process until he made it. I of course got the epidural which was great!! and waited all day until about 7pm when christiaen made it to my bedside. They pushed on the drugs and 45 min later I was ready to have our son. It being my first I freakin pushed two hours.... yeppp two hours!!! but it was soooo worth every minute. Kaden has lots of hair that literally came out with mohawk. and all the features of his daddy!! nose, ears, mouth and yes he has christians butt chin..lol I love it!!!! He weighed 6 pounds 5 oz and was 19 inches long. He is itty bitty!!! Christian is already gone and Kaden and mommy are missing him very much.

So this week I am 37 weeks and I can not believe it!! This last month has been dragging and I think its getting worse. I really miss Christian and cant wait to see him. I cant even tell you how excited that I am about our son coming into this world. I feel like I will be the luckiest girl when I have my two boys by my side. The doctors were laughing at the ultrasound this weeks cause of how big Kade's head is. His body is super skinny but that head is wow!!!!! He had hair you could see in the ultrasound, and chubby cheeks and huge lips. I have no idea where he got the hair from cause I had like none but I guess he will be like his daddy minus being 9 pounds. He is supposedly weighing 6 pounds 8 oz. I feel like he is going to be sooo huge cause the docs say I am still showing small for what he is. All that I am praying for is healthy boy. I am so greatful for being able to be a mommy every day!!

Ok after this last week I am so ready to be done with pregnancy. As you can see no make up and bum pj's are my life right now. I cant even believe I am putting this pic up but I honestly I gotta say I feel like crap and it looks like it. I am havent been getting much sleep, seeing how i get kicked all night and cant seem to help getting woken up at 5 am every morning. I love the little guy to death already but he is hurting his mama before he is even here. Anyways I just had to vent about the lovely time I have been having being pregnant. Oh and by the way my belly just started to itch like crazy and I cant stand it!!!! Sunday will mark me being 35 weeks and Monday I have another Doc appt. Wish me luck!!

Missing my Hubby!!!

Its been while since I have been on. I have been so busy with moving all my stuff around at my parents house and getting things ready for this baby to come. I miss Christian sooooooo terribly bad but, he I am so proud of him working so hard for our family. Life in San Antonio has been way tooooo freaking hot for a prego like myself. Today the high was 107, I wanted to die. I got into the pool with my niece and nephew and the water was warm like bath water. For the most part I have been doing my best to stay busy and my family is doing a great job making my life full of erronds. This is a super old pic (well not that old) but I saw it and wanted to show some love for the man that is so wonderful to me! I seriously am so greatful for him and am thankful for the life that we have. I do know this for sure, after this summers work, I am done with being away from him for over a week. I just hope the next seven weeks fly by, our son is healthy and brought into this world (with his father making it in time!)

Growing Belly!!!

Life has been super challenging this past week. After being in the hospital and being put on Penicillen for group b strep, I am very greatful to know that our little boy is safe and growing properly. My belly has finally started to look prego and more rounded. Since being pregnant I havent really had any cravings or been crazy about eating everything I see. However, I do love smelling cleaning products when I am cleaning the house. I have always been a pretty good clean freak but now more then ever I clean just so the house will smell nice. Christian laughs at the fact that I am always cleaning the floors with FABULOSO!!! Its a purple solution that I swear by for cleaning your floors. It will remind you of a "Mexican" house lol but I love it and it reminds me of home.

So my beautiful niece turned three years old on the 16th and I miss her so much!!!! I am going to get to see her shortly but I had to write a quick happy birthday to the little princess that is so cute!!! She is super excited to have aunt Jaquie come back to San Antonio and bring her a present.

Hospital

So I was put into the hospital last night and given two bags of fluids on an IV!!!! Unfortunately I started having contractions yesterday around 1:00pm and held off calling the doctor cause I didnt want to be a paranoid first time mommy. I called the doc's office around 5:30 and they ended up telling me to come in. At first I thought I was having a muscle spasm in my back... but when I kept having sharp pains constantly I knew something was up. One of the girls from our office was nice enough to drive me since Christian was working. I arrived to the hospital where the first lady I met didnt think it was nessary for me to come in, fifteen minutes later I was given an IV just cause they wanted to see if the contractions would stop. I wasnt dehydrated, and as far as anything they ruled out by tests go I just started to have contractions that were two minutes apart. I got to see my little guy and his precious little profile. His little heart was beating and the nurses were having a hoot over how much he moved. The heart rate moniter would pick up every movement. After two hours of being at the hospital they sent me home by giving me a shot and just told me to take it easy. I am so happy that our little baby is healthy and growing just perfectly. Hopefully this doesnt happen again!!!

Summer Fun!!

So I have not gotten the chance to write in a while and here it goes. Summer has come in spurts of good sunny days and bad rainy days. However I have been able to go to the pool with some of the lovely ladies in our office out here in New York. Check out the sexy belly!!! I am growing like crazy too!! Thanks to Paityn I was able to block the UV's from my eyes with her very cute sunglasses he lent me!! What I would do without her I just don't know!! Being at home all day every day has been challenging and the days I do get to go out I take full advantage of it.

We were able to go to the Hamptons and it was everything that you see in the movies. Big houses, lots of old people that are rich, and really cute restaurants. The day we went was a little to breezy and cold so we didnt get to stay to long but it was still fun for all of us to get out and enjoy not being stuck at home. In this particular moment we were all trying to take a picture of all of us jumping in the air with the timer on the camera however, it did not really work very well. I'm sure more fun times are to come and I am excited to have many more adventure with this wonderful group of girls.

Pregnancy is everything that I thought it would be.. and by that I mean its challenging. Although I have been able to do many of the same things I did prior to being pregnant, it is getting harder day by day.I am currently at the end of 27 weeks and counting down the days till this is over!!

So our little life has just begun with one another as husband and wife and we absolutely love it!! Christian is a co manager with APX in long island New York and he is so great at what he does. As for me I am at home everyday trying to find something to do with my pregnant self. I love being able to cook yummy meals for him that he appreciates so much after a hard days work. Like i said before we are expecting!!! and it is a perfect little boy!!! I can not wait to be a mommy even though it is so weird to feel a little person moving around in my belly, but I would not change it for anything else. I am still trying to figure this whole blog thing out so bare with me if my posts arent anything special.
